4/28/07 - FAMILY WALK AROUND CAPITAL LAKE

RETURN TO ORION'S BLOG
Today the sun was shining so we loaded the family up to take a walk around Capital Lake. There were quite a few events happening. There was some sort of "Procession of the Species" downtown. There was a Dragon Boat race on the lake. And there was a walk for the March of Dimes. Lots of people roaming about in Olympia!

We walked by the boats and then we decided to walk over to Bayview Thriftway to get some lunch. Orion was well behaved and Ollie just slept the whole time in the Baby Bjorn.

Then we returned home and Mommy mowed the lawn while Daddy stayed inside with the boys. Orion broke out in a rash and we thought it was the chicken pox but it turned out to be an allergic reaction to some fabric. All and all it was a nice day.

RETURN TO ORION'S BLOG
Today it was Mommy's birthday. Aunt Kathy and Grandma came over and took Mommy and Ollie out for breakfast at the Budd Bay Cafe while Orion was off at preschool.
Ollie was happy and smiling at folks at the restaurant.

Then we headed home and Grandma watched Ollie and Orion while Mommy and Aunt Kathy did some birthday shopping.

Daddy surprised us by coming home early from his trip at Leavenworth. Ollie immediately put on his big grins for Daddy. It was evident that he had missed Daddy!

4/24/07 - OLLIE'S CHECK-UP

Oliver had his 4 month check-up today. He seems to be healthy. He still struggles with Laryngomalacia and GERD (reflux) which interferes with his feedings. The Doctor decided to increase his dosage of Prevacid in hopes that it would help him be more willing to eat. We plan to start solids in another month.

He was given 4 shots and I was told it would likely cause a fever. It did...but it wasn't extremely high. It got to about 100 degrees. He was particularly fussy though and needed to be held a lot which was hard with Orion and his constant needs.
Anyway, we hope and pray that Ollie stays healthy. He's my little angel. Here's a picture of him from yesterday when he was a happier boy.

4/15/07 - OLLIE'S NEW CHAIR

RETURN TO ORION'S BLOG
Today was Sunday and we all actually went to church together. Orion did fine in the childcare and didn't get kicked out like last time. Ollie slept through the whole service.

Then, after church the sun was shining. We decided to go have a picnic in the park. We went over to Tumwater Historical Park. Daddy fixed up a nice picnic for us.

In the afternoon Ollie tried out his new Bumbo chair. He doesn't quite have the head control yet to do it on his own...but he's not far off.

Later that night we went to our church home group. Ollie was a bit fussy there and had feeding issues. But he was fine after we returned home. It was a busy but fun family day.

4/4/07 - JUST MOMMY AND THE BOYS

RETURN TO ORION'S BLOG
Daddy is out-of-town for a few days so it's just Mommy and the boys. Ollie is having some feeding issues and it's been a strain on everyone but we think it's improving.

Big brother Orion was home today too because he has a bit of a cold. Fortunately, Ollie was easy going today.
Here's a picture of him posing for his "glamor shot"!

We had a visit from Carol but Ollie slept through it. Orion was awake and loudly playing through his nap time.

We miss Daddy so much and can't wait until he comes home to hug us and play with us!
